How to Check and Enroll in TriCare Dental Coverage for Military Families

Whether you’re checking your current TriCare Dental Program (TDP) coverage or looking to enroll, we’ve made the process simple. Follow the steps below to confirm your coverage and sign up if needed.
Step 1: Check If You Have TriCare Dental Coverage
You can verify your TriCare Dental Program (TDP) coverage in a few easy ways:
Log Into milConnect
- Visit milConnect and sign in with your DS Logon, CAC, or DFAS MyPay credentials.
- Under "Benefits”“, select “Dental” to see your current enrollment status.
Call United Concordia (TriCare Dental Program Administrator)
- Active Duty Family Members: Call 1-844-653-4061
- National Guard/Reserve Members & Families: Call 1-844-653-4060
Check Your Pay Stub
- If you’re enrolled in TDP, your LES (Leave and Earnings Statement) will show a dental premium deduction.
Step 2: Enroll in TriCare Dental (If Not Already Covered)
If you are not currently enrolled and want to sign up for TriCare Dental, follow these steps:
Confirm Eligibility
Who Can Enroll?
- Family members of active-duty service members
- National Guard/Reserve members & their families
- Retirees are covered under a different plan (FEDVIP), not TDP
Sign Up Online
- Go to the United Concordia Enrollment Page: www.uccitdp.com
- Click “Enroll Now” and follow the prompts
Enroll by Phone
- Call United Concordia at 1-844-653-4061 (for active-duty families), or
- Call 1-844-653-4060 (for Reserve/National Guard).
Set Up Payments
- Choose automatic payroll deduction (for active-duty families) or autopay via credit card/bank draft for National Guard/Reserve members.
Step 3: Start Using Your Benefits
Once enrolled, you’ll receive a TriCare Dental Program Welcome Packet with:
- Your TDP Member ID
- A list of network dentists near you
- Instructions for managing your account online
You can start using your TDP coverage on the 1st of the month after enrollment.
